iOS 8 beta 5 released with bug fixes and new tweaks


iOS 8 beta 5 is released today and new iOS 8 beta 5 comes with many bug fixes and new tweaks. iOS 8 beta 5 is only for developers and compatible with earlier iOS 8 compatible iDevices.

What is the new bug fixes and new tweaks in iOS 8 beta 5 –

  • Brightness controls have been from Wallpaper settings panel.


  • Now displays above the photos, the location where the photo was taken.
  • New icons for iCloud, iCloud Family Sharing, iCloud Drive, Back-up and Keychain.


  • In the Keyboard switcher added new toggle as a “Predictive”

  • Added new sound after a voice message is sent.
  • Home Data renamed as HomeKit in Settings > Privacy.
  • Minor sorting method change in Settings > General > Restrictions.
  • Spectrometry data types have been added to HealthKit.
  • Continuity SMS sync now called SMS Relay, can be enabled or disabled.


  • Blur on older devices on new Spotlight.
  • Added privacy settings for Helth.


  • Added “Option” toggle for Export Health Data.
