Apple had seeded lot of beta versions, They has seeded the following beta versions for registered iOS developers and as well as public testers, Such as watchOS 2.2 beta, tvOS 9.2 beta, OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 beta and most importantly new iOS 9.3 beta. It’s great news for the jailbreak community as well since the beta version of iOS 9.3 has been jailbroken quickly with it’s release.
Every iOS Jailbreak fans has been eagerly waiting for the release of the next jailbreak including a jailbreak for iOS 9.2. The same hacker who previously shared a screenshot of a jailbreak iOS 9.2.1 beta with his iPhone 6 running iOS 9.2.1 – Luca Todesco – has shared a video showcasing a jailbreak iOS 9.3 beta 1.
In the video, to confirm that the version of iOS that he was jailbroken was in fact Apple’s latest iOS 9.3 beta 1, Todesco showed off some of the new features including the new Night Shift mode which can be used to change the gamma values of the iPhone’s screen.
iOS 9.3 Jailbreak (beta 1) – Video Showcase
we’ll keep you upgraded know as soon as there are any further updates on the iOS 9.2 / iOS 9.3 jailbreak and other important things in Jailbreak community. So don’t forget to keep following us. Thanks for reading!
It’s been more than 2 months since Apple killed the iOS 9.1 jailbreak, and in that time we’ve seen the public release of iOS 9.1 update, 9.2 update and also a beta version of 9.2.1 update, with no update to the Pangu9 tool. So as you can imagine, we’ve received a lot of questions regarding the current status of the jailbreak. Here is what we know so far about iOS 9.1 – iOS 9.2 Jailbreak.
Apple released iOS 9 on September 16. That was quickly followed by iOS 9.0.1 and 9.0.2 later in the month, with significant bug and security fixes. The iOS 9 jailbreak landed on October 13, courtesy of the talented Pangu Team, and iOS 9.0 – iOS 9.0.2 Jailbreak was compatible with all iOS 9.0 – iOS 9.0.2 running devices.
Pangu 9 jailbreak tool was stopped by Apple on October 21, with the release of iOS 9.1 update, which patched several security exploits used by the team of hackers. So, 9.0.2 is the latest version of iOS that’s eligible to be jailbreak, and Apple has long stopped signing the software, meaning you can’t up/downgrade to it.
We’ve heard that both Pangu and TaiG are working on jailbreak tools for the latest public version of iOS, which is 9.2 update. In fact, a recent report pointed to a ‘Weibo'(Chinese) post by TaiG partner 3K Assistant which indicated their Taig iOS 9.2 Jailbreak tool is nearly complete. Unfortunately, that’s all we’ve heard—we have no knowledge of an exact release date.
Now all we have to do is sit and wait. The aforementioned teams aren’t much for status updates, and they have been extremely sporadic with recent releases. An iOS 9.2 jailbreak could literally come at anytime. So for those of you anxiously awaiting its arrival, be sure to keep following us, because as soon as we know more, you’ll update.
Should you update to iOS 9.2 update?
It really depends on your situation. Obviously, if you are on iOS 9.0.x and are either enjoying a jailbreak or still considering it, you should stay put. If you’re on iOS 9.1, then you can upgrade to latest iOS 9.2 update, because if TaiG or PanGu upgrade theirs utility, it will be compatible with both iOS 9.1 jailbreak and iOS 9.2 Jailbreak
Less than a week after iOS 9.1 beta 4 release, Apple on Monday issued a brand new, 5th beta of iOS 9’s first major software update. iOS 9.1 beta 5 (build number 13B137) for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch is available to both registered iOS developers and Apple public beta testers.
iOS 9.1 beta 5 is available as a standalone download through Apple’s portal for developers and also can update through OTA update. To apply the update over-the-air on your device running an iOS beta, go to Settings > General > Software Update. Public beta testers signed for the Apple Beta Software Program can also install iOS 9.1 beta 5 update.
As per the iOS 9.1 beta 5 release note, there are no new special features in this update, with an over the air update prompt stating that this beta version of iOS 9.1 contains bug fixes and unspecified improvements. But developers should look out for a few remaining issues related to iCloud Keychain, PhotoKit, Restore and UIKit, signaling that a public launch is just around the corner.
Additionally, iOS 9.1 will bring support for new emoji icons, including taco, burrito, cheese wedge, popcorn, middle finger and many more and also will be some fresh new wallpapers, too. iOS 9.1 contains compatibility support for the forthcoming Apple iPad Pro and Apple Pencil and developer support for the Live Photos feature on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
The iOS 9.1 first beta was released to developers following Apple’s iPhone 6s event in September 2015 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. Latest public iOS 9 update is iOS 9.0.2 and there are no available way to download Cydia for iOS 9.0.2. But reputed Jailbreak teams like TaiG and PanGu races to release first iOS 9 Jailbreak to the public

iOS 9 is now officially released, and it brings with it a whole slew of new features and improvements. If you own an eligible iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you can download an install iOS 9 right now. There are two ways to upgrade to iOS 9. First one is OTA (over the air) software update, and or the more traditional update via iTunes. But you hope to Jailbreak iOS 9 running device, We recommend you to update iOS 9 using iTunes.
The iTunes update requires you to download the iOS 9 (ipsw) file, and then apply the update. You’ll need to be connected to your computer with a USB cable in order to apply the new update via iTunes.
In many cases, iOS 9 especially with the latest iPads, iOS 9 can make you feel like you have a brand new device.
We’ve some good news for jailbreak fans. Famous iOS hacker called ‘iH8sn0w’, who is developer of popular jailbreak tools such as Sn0wbreeze, P0sixspwn has successfully archived for Jailbreak iOS 9 GM.
iOS 9 Jailbreak demonstrate video
He has just published demonstrate video of the iOS 9 jailbreak. The iOS 9 Jailbreak is an untethered jailbreak, so you won’t lose the Cydia when you reboot your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch device.
iH8sn0w has provided the following details about the security features in iOS 9 update –
Poking into iOS 9 is fun. A little annoyed at some new things. But very surprised at how similar it is to iOS 8 internally.
Worth noting, iOS 9+ arm64 iDevices now enforce a checksum on __TEXT/DATA.const regions of the kernel through the use of TrustZone. Modifying said sections will cause the device to panic (either at kernel or EL3 will force a reboot if the kernel refused to gracefully panic). Essentially, it’s KPP (Kernel Patch Protection). You can race it though if you want to play with things. Just be quick! ;P
Also, there should technically now be two additional partitions (baseband_data [s1s3] and logs [s1s4]) but didn’t really bother with those as they weren’t critical.
Few days back Pangu team had confirmed that Apple had patched two exploits used in the iOS 8.4.1 Jailbreak, so we thought that it will make it even more difficult to jailbreak iOS 9 version. So it is quite impressive that he has managed to install Cydia for iOS 9.
Apple released iOS 9 with the same build number as iOS 9 Golden Master, so it will be possible to jailbreak the public release as well. It remains to be seen if iH8sn0w will release a Jailbreak tool for iOS 9. But since iOS 9 can be jailbroken, users who still on iOS 8.4 or lower versions, avoid upgrading to iOS 9 and wait for the iOS 9 jailbreak tool to be released. It is also possible that TaiG and Pangu team can discover the jailbreak exploits, and release a jailbreak for iOS 9.
Apple seeded iOS 8.4.1 update earlier today with included several bug fixes and improvements for Apple Music. As per we expect earlier, iOS 8.4.1 patches several vulnerabilities used by the TaiG team in their TaiG jailbreak tool for kill iOS 8.4.1 Jailbreak.
Apple listed several security patches in the security release notes of iOS 8.4.1 update and Apple credited the “TaiG Jailbreak Team” for discovering vulnerabilities on Apple’s mobile operating system.
iOS 8.4.1 should also kill the PP Jailbreak, which was released for iOS 8.1.3 – iOS 8.4 Jailbreak. This means that 25PP or TaiG jailbreak cannot be used to Jailbreak iOS 8.4.1 update currently. But You can still use TaiG or PP Jailbreak tool for Jailbreak iOS 8.4 or lower iOS versions
If you’re still on iOS 8.4 or lower then it may be a good idea to install iOS 8.4 manually and Jailbreak iOS 8.1.3 – iOS 8.4 running device using PP or TaiG jailbreak. So Jailbreak uses stay away from iOS 8.4.1 update and be extremely careful while installing jailbreak tweaks on Jailbroken iOS 8.4 – iOS 8.1.3 device.
